The Client:
The company is an internationally active provider of solutions for the construction supply industry, operating three production facilities for building materials and hardware products across Europe. Its products are distributed worldwide, while sales within Europe are conducted through a network of distribution partners.
The Project:
During a period of declining production volumes, the company initiated a restructuring program. At the same time, an unexpected vacancy arose within the technical leadership team, precisely in the area that was critical to the turnaround initiative. A key objective of the project was the optimization of operational processes, with a particular focus on improving OTIF performance (On Time In Full), ensuring that customer orders were delivered both on time and in full.
Highlights:
- Rapid stabilization of the technical leadership team and assumption of day-to-day operational management
- Refinement and revision of the proposed restructuring plan
- Focused improvement of key operational performance indicators, including lead times, OTIF performance, quality, and productivity
- Successful completion of the ERP migration already underway
