The Client:

The company is an internationally active provider of solutions in the construction-related industry, with a total of three production sites for building materials and fittings in Europe. The products are sold worldwide. In Europe, sales are handled by distribution partners.

The Project:

During a phase of declining production volumes, a restructuring program was prepared within the company. In the short term, a vacancy emerged in the company’s technical leadership, i.e., in the very area on which the restructuring program was intended to focus. A key priority was to improve operational processes, with a particular focus on enhancing OTIF performance (On Time In Full, i.e. on-time and complete delivery).

Highlights:

  • Short-term stabilization of the technical management team and assumption of day-to-day operations
  • Refinement and revision of the drafted restructuring plan
  • Focus on and short-term improvement of key operational performance indicators such as delivery time, on-time order fulfillment, quality and productivity
  • Completion of the ongoing ERP migration
