With the Valtus Alliance, Management Factory is part of a global network of restructuring experts and turnaround managers. In this context, “restructuring” does not necessarily imply a crisis: local expertise and management power on the ground are also essential for the transformation of a group in the course of M&A activities, for the consolidation of different business units at a central location, and for the establishment of shared service centers (e.g. in Eastern Europe or Southeast Asia).
In 2025, Valtus supported its clients in 170 restructuring projects across four continents. We have access to a global pool of around 2,300 experienced Chief Restructuring Officers and turnaround managers in 30 countries, enabling us to support our clients in both phases of a restructuring:
- Phase 1: Concept and assessment (depending on the local legal framework, e.g. IBR, IDW S6 report, going-concern prognosis, or restructuring concept)
- Phase 2: Implementation of the restructuring with executive interim managers (CEOs, CFOs, Chief Restructuring Officers, COOs, plant managers, etc.)
Each country has its own legal framework and its own “rules of the game”.
