Coveris Group is a leading manufacturer of flexible packaging with corporate offices in Vienna. The company operates 17 sites and employs around 2,500 people worldwide, generating annual revenues of more than €600 million.
The Project
Over the past 24 months, VALTUS Management Factory supported Coveris Group in the design and implementation of a comprehensive restructuring program across several production facilities.
The objective was to significantly enhance the efficiency of the international production network for plastic films and packaging while maintaining the Group’s revenue base. As part of the transformation, one production site was downsized, one site was closed, and existing customer relationships and orders were successfully transferred to five receiving locations.

The success of the transformation program was driven in large part by the deployment of experienced interim managers in key leadership roles: Gerhard Gocek assumed responsibility as Managing Director of the Kufstein plant, while Andreas Dörfler led the PMO function and oversaw the international business transfer activities.
