The customer:

The MACO Group, based in Salzburg, is a leading European manufacturer of hardware systems for windows, doors and sliding doors. With six production plants and an in-house production share of over 95 per cent, the European market is served via its own distribution network.

The project:

A vacancy arose in the management of the MACO Group in mid-2024. In order to continue ongoing operations and to bridge the gap until a new CEO took over, it was necessary to appoint an interim manager in the position of CEO.

Highlights:

  • A manager from Management Factory took over the management of the company on an interim basis and ensured the stable and professional continuation of business operations with the existing management team. This allowed the company’s objectives to be pursued without interruption.
  • The entire project portfolio was successfully implemented as planned with the existing project organisations in the company.
  • A structured and orderly handover to the new CEO was ensured so that a seamless transition was possible.
