Philippe Soullier, CEO of Valtus, our partner within the Valtus Alliance network, helped us understand the industry better and inspired us to build a business model suited to our client\u2019s needs locally. We were determined to build a strong brand in this sector.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-what-does-the-interim-market-look-like-in-poland-and-how-has-it-developed-in-the-last-5-years\">What does the interim market look like in Poland, and how has it developed in the last 5 years?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Die Branche befindet sich noch in den Anfangsjahren, aber wir investieren stark in die Aufbereitung des Marktes und in die Bekanntmachung von Interim-Management. Als Covid ausbrach, wuchs die Interim-Management-Branche sehr schnell, da die Rekrutierung f\u00fcr dauerhafte Positionen zusammenbrach und keine Zeit f\u00fcr Versuch und Irrtum blieb. Die st\u00e4rkste Entwicklung war in den Bereichen digitale Transformation und e-Commerce festzustellen. Wir haben viele Auftr\u00e4ge in diesem Bereich gewinnen k\u00f6nnen.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How is the balance between male and female Interim Managers in Poland?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;In Polen gibt es weit weniger Vorurteile gegen Frauen als in anderen europ\u00e4ischen L\u00e4ndern. Heutzutage ist es f\u00fcr Frauen einfach, Vorstandsposten zu bekommen. Es gibt aber immer noch mehr aktive m\u00e4nnliche Interim-Manager. Ich denke, das h\u00e4ngt mit einem Sicherheitsdenken zusammen. Viele Managerinnen streben nach wie vor Fixanstellungen. Bei uns in Polen ist Altersdiskriminierung eigentlich das gr\u00f6\u00dfere Problem als die Diskriminierung des Geschlechts wegen. Top-F\u00fchrungskr\u00e4fte \u00fcber 45 finden derzeit in Polen nur schwer einen Job, der ihren Qualifikationen entspricht. Im Interim-Management ist das aber zum Gl\u00fcck kein Thema. Wir haben auch zahlreiche Anfragen f\u00fcr Projektmanager, die f\u00fcr die Neugestaltung der Go-to-Market-Strategien f\u00fcr E-Commerce oder Marketplaces zust\u00e4ndig sind, gefolgt von General Managern f\u00fcr die Produktion und die Automobilindustrie.\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What characterises a successful Interim Manager?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAn Interim Manager should be financially independent, able to work intensively, fast and in an objective manner. He\/she needs to have above-average personal and leadership skills. You must be able to talk in a simple manner and not just \u201ccorporate\u201d and be very clear and pragmatic. An Interim Manager should also be good at dealing with the management team and his\/her own team, be able to prioritise the client\u2019s needs and be self-confident. Soft skills are more and more important, you cannot get your team onboard if they do not understand why the changes are being done and how they, as individuals, can add value to it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is the next step in Nuvadis Interim development?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cPoland is nowadays an attractive place for foreign direct investments, there are a lot of new projects (mainly green-field) in sectors such as Energy, Manufacturing, IT and BPO\/SSC businesses. All this is thanks to a sizable local market, a skilled labour force, a mature business environment and a good position at the axes of East-West and North-South EU transit corridors. When it comes to local companies, private firms set up in the 90ies are entering a period of succession and we will see a real boost of the interest in Interim Management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our team has recently been reinforced by of Michal Jakubowski, who spent 25 years in the industry and brings his general management experience and expertise, understanding our customers\u2019 needs.
