MODELLEISENBAHN GmbH and its subsidiaries are structured as a group of production and sales companies. With the traditional brands ROCO (since 1960) and FLEISCHMANN (since 1887), the company produces locomotives and wagons in the gauges H0, N, TT and N. The models are designed, manufactured and distributed at locations in Austria, Germany, Slovakia, Romania and Vietnam. The head office is in Bergheim near Salzburg and the company employs more than 1,000 people. MODELLEISENBAHN GMBH has also established itself as the European market leader in the DC segment and, with an annual turnover of EUR 50 million, occupies second place in the European market for model railroads.
The project:
Management Factory has been supporting MODELLEISENBAHN GmbH since 2017 and currently provides the management for Finance and HR. The past few years have been characterized by extensive restructuring and optimizations in group-wide production and financial processes. The overarching goal was to increase productivity and profitability and stabilize the financing structure.
