The Client:

The Duktus Group develops, produces and markets high-quality ductile iron systems for water transport. Duktus employs more than 300 people at its production site in Wetzlar, Germany and in sales subsidiaries in Europe and the Middle East. With a group turnover of over 100 million euros, Duktus is one of Europe’s largest suppliers of ductile iron pipe systems.

The Project:

Financing bottlenecks in the municipal economy led to a drop in demand for investments in water supply, which also affected Duktus wesntly. Management Factory provided the CEO of the Duktus holding company from June 2012. The main focus of the activity was the strategic orientation of the Group towards new applications / customer groups, the optimization of business processes to improve productivity, the concentration on one production site and the stabilization of the financing structure.
